Our History

We are the Eagles, soaring to new heights in faith, education, and leadership!

Believers In Christ Christian Academy was founded in 1990 through the vision and faith of Dr. Cheryl McBride Brown. Inspired by a call to serve the community from Vera Jones, one of our founding educators, Dr. Brown, then Director of Psychiatric Nursing at Milwaukee County Hospital, stepped away from her career to establish a training academy rooted in Christian principles. With minimal resources but unwavering faith, the Academy began its mission to nurture and equip the next generation of leaders.

Over the years, the school flourished, expanding its reach and impact. Partnering with the Milwaukee Parental Choice Program allowed us to serve more families across the Milwaukee Metropolitan area. Believers In Christ Christian Academy has grown into a “family of families,” unified by our commitment to excellence, faith, and community.

Guided by our core values and mission, we are proud to witness the success of our alumni, who embody the prophetic vision that started this journey.
