Instructional Model
Theory of Multiple Intelligences
We actively pursue the development of our students’ talents using Dr. Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences (M.I.). This model emphasizes how people are smart and that people are smart in different ways. The Multiple Intelligence Theory challenges traditional beliefs of intelligence that there Is only one intelligence. Gardner introduced eight types of intelligence to broadly explain the notion of intelligence: Linguistic, Logical/Mathematical, Spatial, Bodily-Kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal, and Naturalist. Gardner also suggests that there may be other “candidate” intelligence—such as spiritual, existential, and moral—but does not believe these meet his original criteria. (Gardner, 2011). We use the Multiple Intelligence model as a cognitive map to deliver authentic personalized learning experiences and Instruction to our students.
Pre-K
At Believers In Christ Christian Academy, our Pre-K program provides a nurturing and faith-centered foundation where young learners begin their educational journey with confidence and curiosity. Designed for children aged 3 to 5, our program combines Christian principles, structured learning, and play-based exploration to foster a love for learning, social growth, and spiritual development.
With small class sizes, caring and experienced educators, and a focus on individualized attention, we prepare our youngest Eagles to excel academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Through hands-on activities, creative expression, and early literacy and math development, our Pre-K students build the skills they need to soar in kindergarten and beyond.
We believe that every child is uniquely gifted by God, and our program is designed to help them discover and celebrate their potential in a safe, loving environment. At Believers In Christ, the journey to leadership and lifelong learning begins here.
Kindergarten
Primary (1st-4th)
At Believers In Christ Christian Academy, our primary program, serving 1st – 4th grades, is designed to inspire curiosity, cultivate academic excellence, and deepen students’ spiritual growth. These formative years build on the foundation established in earlier grades, fostering a love of learning and critical thinking in a faith-based environment.
Our curriculum integrates rigorous academics with creative exploration, focusing on literacy, math, science, and social studies while incorporating technology and the arts. Guided by compassionate, skilled educators, students are encouraged to discover their unique talents and abilities, gaining the confidence to excel inside and outside the classroom.
Beyond academics, we emphasize character development, respect, and teamwork, helping students grow as moral citizens and community leaders. Rooted in Christian values, our primary program nurtures the whole child; mind, body, and spirit, preparing them to soar as lifelong learners and impactful leaders.
Middle (5th - 8th)
At Believers In Christ Christian Academy, our middle school program for 5th through 8th grades is a transformative journey where students grow into confident, capable, and compassionate young leaders. Rooted in Christian values, our program bridges the critical transition from childhood to adolescence, fostering academic excellence, spiritual maturity, and personal development.
Our rigorous curriculum challenges students to excel in core subjects like math, science, language arts, and social studies, while also nurturing their creativity through technology, arts, and extracurricular activities. Experienced and dedicated educators provide individualized support, ensuring each student is equipped to succeed academically and socially.
Beyond the classroom, we emphasize leadership, character development, and community engagement. Middle school students are encouraged to explore their passions, deepen their faith, and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that prepare them for high school and beyond.
At Believers In Christ, our middle school experience empowers students to embrace their God-given potential, equipping them to soar as future leaders and lifelong learners.
